About Fair Winds Home Inspections
With a background in construction, fine woodworking, and two years of specialized boatbuilding school, I bring precision, craftsmanship, and a sharp eye for detail to every inspection. Whether I was building furniture or restoring boats, I learned the value of quality work, patience, and doing things right the first time—and that’s the same standard I bring when evaluating homes.
As a husband and father, I also understand how important it is to know that a home is safe for your family. That’s why I conduct every inspection as if I were inspecting for my own family—thorough, careful, and with your safety and peace of mind as my top priority.
My journey into home inspections began at 25, when I bought my first fixer-upper. I learned firsthand how overwhelming hidden problems can be: small leaks, outdated wiring, HVAC headaches, drainage issues, and insulation gaps. Every day brought a new challenge—and I often wished I had someone to guide me.
Now, I’m that guide for others. My mission is simple: to help you avoid costly surprises by giving you a clear, detailed picture of the property you’re considering. From the foundation to the roof, I’ll identify issues, explain what they mean, and help you move forward with confidence.
